Summer Rain

Watching the mist fall on to the colored leaves is

serene

Seeing them bounce like a

ball on concrete

is childish

The humidity of the sun makes it feel more like

the rain forest

And every now and then

the thunder rumbles

Reassuring that it will be a

long

soaked

night
