Miles

Birds chirping in the morning hours,

filling my body with positivity to get up and run.

The cold wood floor electrocuting my muscles,

waking me up from a nightmare,

where you left me.


Walking outside, wind on my face.

Stepping forward

evolving into a sprint for miles.
