Forgive Me

It's overcoming me.

Filling my lungs with salty sea water,

drying out my soft skin like a starfish on the beach.

Weight is tied to my ankle.

Pulling me down to the deepno light and no sound.

I am in a frenzy to remove it,

but my fingers are trembling

to untie the knots put there by myself.
