Breathe

Sometimes I forget how to breathe.

I forget to inhale the oxygen and exhale to carbon dioxide.

I watch a suspenseful part of a movie and about thirty seconds later

I will become light headed and must remind myself

To breathe.

To inhale the oxygen and exhale the carbon dioxide.

Breathing is awkward if you think too much.

But it comes naturally

It is part of living

But once you think about breathing

Anxiety takes over your mind

Convincing you are doing it wrong

So sometimes I forget how to breathe.

I forget to inhale the oxygen and exhale to carbon dioxide.
